Janet Gilmore

Janet Gilmore lives and works on the beautiful Bass River in Yarmouth on Cape Cod.

Ms. Gilmore was born in Brockton, MA and received a B.F.A. from Massachusetts College of Art in Boston. She continued her studies with Laurence Kufferman, John Gavin, Gerorge Mick and John Thornton.

Ms. Gilmore is a member of the Yarmouth Art Guild and the Yarmouth Cultural Council. She has taught at the Cape Cod Art Association, the Creative Arts Center and the Falmouth Art Guild. Ms. Gilmore's work has earned many awards and her paintings are part of private collections in the United States and Europe.
